They are a national franchise with locations in all of the continental United States. The first Chick-fil-A was opened in Greenbriar Shopping Center now Greenbriar Mall which is now an African American community where many prominent African American political, business and educational leaders lived.
Waffle house is a 24 hour diner that was started in Avondale Estates, a city in DeKalb County Georgia. Waffle House is known for its inexpensive food, great service and accessibility. They are found all over the southeast and in Atlanta you are always less than ten minutes away from a Waffle House. Even celebs like to hang out and get a late night meal at Waffle House!
Moe’s is a popular quick serve Mexican/Tex-Mex food restaurant similar to Chipotle that is mainly found along the east coast. Moe’s offers food such as burritos, quesadillas as well as some unique dishes only found at Moe’s. Moe’s was founded a few miles from where the host hotel is on the infamous Peachtree Street. You often will hear workers exclaim “Welcome to Moe’s!” when you walk inside one.
